The
farm "Poggio ANTINORA" rise on the top of an hill (500 m. above
sea level) in the heart of the "Chianti Classico", near Gaiole in
Chianti, in the province of Siena.
The farm extends for 49 hectares of which 20 hectares are all vinegards,
4 hectares of olive grove (approximately 1200 plants) and 8 hectares
of fit for seed land; the remaining part is composed by ancient
wood in the center of which the farmhouse rise. This tipical farmhouse
of the Chianti that dates back to the XIII century is occupied by
the family Brandani who is the owner of all the farm.
This family hand down to posterity the tradition of the production
of wine in this land from 1200.
The farm has been recently shaken up from the owner Luca Brandani
who attended a school of oenology.
Luca, thanks to the cooperation with young but qualified people,
is transforming the farm in a leader vine - making industry.
